well it's that time again.
time for me to update this after 4 or 5 months
well done with my first year at SVA
started working at Carolines comedy club in time square
all i have to do is answer phones and deal with assholes
i also cut out little pieces of paper and read
haven't seen Pari in a month but that's gonna change later today
me and my brother signed a lease for an apartment in brooklyn
im moving my shit in on sunday
have a tour in august centered around best friends day
but we havent practiced in 2 months
see ya round september

so what's been going on with me?

i've been dating Pari since november
i've been on tour since December 30th with Chrome Blower
the Try It! Ep Demo tape is done

we have so far hit up Philly, DC for new years eve, Richmond Virginia (hung out with Pari for a couple days), and Newark,Delaware
i've have too many stories that i couldnt do justice here
hitting up Maryland for the next two days and then it's done
but at one point last night i realized something while Mike and I were driving drunk around Brooklyn rocking out to Tragedy
i'm pretty content with my life right now
a year ago i would have never pictured myself here:
- going to an awesome school in an awesome city
- touring in an awesome pop punk band with awesome friends
- dating an awesome girl
2008 treated me pretty well and i hope to make 2009 better
but apparently when i go home everyone thinks i act is if im too good for upstate
because i call Pari a lot and i dont enjoy the same exact thing i was doing for the past 3 years
drinking and smoking in the same places
i dont miss monroe woodbury
in fact i wouldnt care if i never came back again
well besides seeing my mom, but even then i think shes moving within the next two years
yeah that's right i'm done with it
i hope to move here in the summer
and in other news i wanna get a Rocko tattoo

holy shit what's been going on with me?
school-wise its all good
working on a third-year student's shoot next with kyle
possibly doing a hair salon commercial with my friend Evan

mike came in for the kylsa show, that was cool
might go see coliseum and baroness with him and kyle in a couple of weeks
saw chuck ragan, tim barry,frank turner, ben nichols with pari back in october
that was pretty cool

two hail marys broke up...
chromeblower has played three shows

the first one was great
played with this awesome band from argentina called boom boom kid
the second one was halloween and mike had a 100 degree fever so we were sloppy
the third one was with this band i saw at dudefest called the wayward it was pretty cool

we've written five songs
we're recording with joe within the next two weeks

halloween: pari made me an awesome banana costume and i played the show

election: submitted absentee ballot early,when obama won shit got wild here people in the streets screaming
i celebrated with my roommate and pari with some magic hat

besides some little annoyances
im doing great

i dont miss monroe at all.

i got a job in the a-v dept
i met some interesting people
i've been writing some new lyrics

i didnt update this thing all summer
wasnt that eventful except for dudefest: that was awesome
i worked as a custodian at my high school and scraped gum
but that's really isnt all that important
i have another new band that i play drums in
my brother and davis play guitar
keith plays bass and kyle does vox
its awesome
two hail marys well eventually record
right now im at SVA and my classes dont start till sept 2
move in wasnt all that bad
my room is nice
my roommate is pretty easy to deal with
and i was kinda awkward but i met some cool people
i'm back in therapy and im saw a new psychiatrist today
he's located in the upper west side and im glad im going to him
and i was such a good mood today i walked all the way back here afterwards

so yesterday my grandfather came up and helped me with some drivingand today i passed my road test
finally!

while im not one to look for signs or anything like that, today was also my dad's birthday
so i dunno

11:07 pm - April 18-29

ok where do i start
well the day before break me and mike skipped school
when we were walking outside there was a teacher and a class right in front of his car
doing some kind of activity or what not
and we just kinda awkwardly left ... it was hilarious
then i went to oneonta that night with my brother and szmidtty
went up to table rock then the campus security came and busted it up
so we went back to artem's friend apartment
smoked mad hookah and drank a little
but i forgot i didnt eat all day and puked a couple times
on the way back to artems dorm i heard some frat dudes at TEK start a fight it was odd
came back showed artem some songs
then we went to purchase and saw cursive
they were good as usual
then at midnight it was officially 4 20
smoked a fatass joint and passed out zephyrs for a little bit
woke up a couple hours later and we left
smoked a bowl at 4:20AM
got home and passed out again
than mad band practice the next day
i just sing now and artem plays bass i like it a lot better
we're going to tour in june for 4 days with Pete's band
anyway from there nothing really happened for most of break
just a lot of pot smoking and rock band with szmidtty
went to brooklyn last friday and saw zephyrs band at 1:30 in the morning
crammed 8 kids into my brothers car
passed out at keith's smoked a blunt in the morning and got some white castle
and had band practice again on sunday
well thats my break in a nutshell
not too exciting but i enjoyed it

i highly recommend Fu Manchu's The Action is Go for some great stoner jams.

my birthday was alright except i was really burnt
just got tickets for modern life is war at the knitting factory
and scheduled another road test for May 9th
god i hope i dont fuck up again

so kids came back from college for spring break
drinking smoking joking campfires and all that
but every time they go back i get real bummed
wednesday is my birthday but im probably not going to do anything
either sunday or monday im gonna go to modern life is war's last show

i just want school to end

two weeks ago i went to Oneonta for two days  that was pretty fun
saw the Ranges twice and borderline tripped while Kyle,Senning, and Rob were balls out
it was hilarious
friday Wyatt had a party and it was real chill
today im staying home and disinfecting everything cause i got pink eye...gross
and i got a road test this friday (that took me long enough)

my dog who is acting normal again (needed pain medication)
but it turns out he has had a BB lodged in his lung for quite some time now
i know it couldn't have been me or andy because we never shot our bb guns with him in the backyard
and i don't recall any of my neighbors having bb guns...weird

three day weekend!Oneonta?! let's hope.

oneonta kids came back for a week so more smoking than usual
and then Davis had an open house this weekend and my god was that awesome
went to Miles' party on saturday and that was kind of cool got stoned and watched pulp fiction
possibly going up to oneonta this weekend

this week my sleep schedule has been shit
i pretty much come home at 2:30 sleep til 8-9 and stay awake for the rest
but yesterday i got so tired i slept and missed my bus
so since wednesday was a snowday and i have off today,monday,and tuesday
i pretty much gave myself a 7-Day weekend

snow days rock,except when its not snow as much as it is slush,ice,and flooding
playing Tuscan Cafe this saturday
you should come (but you're all probably going for The Holding Company anyway)
a whole bunch of people coming home this weekend, which seems to be all i look forward to
i just want to graduate already and go to school

i just realized it's valentines day tomorrow,fuck.

so i was looking through some of my dad's old photo albums
and i was looking at flyers for shows he played with his band The Roms
and apparently he played with The Dead Boys and The Plasmatics
how fuckin' nuts is that!
